White 1: 2023 COR Cellars ALBA White Blend
The Alba is the Phillipe Petit in the line up. balancing on the edge with poise from Pinot Gris and flair from Gewurztraminer. The vibrant Underwood Mountain acidity is tamed with texture imbued by a co-ferment in concrete. All around, it is a crowd pleaser sure to defy expectations.
White 2: 2023 Grosgrain Tout Le Temps
The renowned Specogna winery represents the true essence of the Friuli Colli Orientali region. Characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, the wine reveals an intense and persistent bouquet on the nose, where notes of white flowers, tropical fruits, and a light herbaceous hint typical of the Sauvignon variety stand out. On the palate, the freshness is well balanced by a medium-bodied structure and a persistent minerality that reflects the richness of the Friulian soil.
Red 1: 2019 Top Source Red Blend
Aromas of Bing cherries and macerated strawberries mix it up with black pepper, bittersweet dark chocolate and a meaty note that suggests ribs cooking on an outdoor grill. More blackberries on the palate, with dark plums, thyme, rosemary and spicy paprika note. A smooth, soft mouthfeel with tangy acidity and silky tannins. This blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah is clearly delicious. 93 points WE
Red 2: 2019 Savage Grace Dineen Vineyard Cot Malbec
A modest alcohol percentage with concentration and muscular tannins—what a rare and mesmerizing combination. Red currants and pickled daikon aromas on the nose of this wine are joined by Asian spices. Juicy Black Ruby plum, wild strawberry and balsa flavors march over a leathery texture. 93 points WE
Red 3: 2020 Vital Cabernet Sauvignon
Cigar papers, cherries, currants, cassis, and orange zest lead to juniper, white pepper, carob nibs, and swiss miss cocoa. River rocks and birch bark- this wine came straight out of a backcountry hike.
Premium: 2021 Cogno PRE-PHYLLOXERA Barbera D’ Alba
We couldn’t pass up placing this wine into Club, even with Washington Wine Month.

A rich purple in color, the 2021 Barbera D’Alba Pre-Phylloxera comes from 130-year-old vines from a single cask. It is expansive aromatically, with a perfume that offers more spice in its notes of black pepper, blackcurrant liqueur, and lavender, giving it an almost Syrah-like character. A very special wine, it fills the palate with plummy fruit and cleans up with dark minerals. Full-bodied without being weighted, this is a wine with more aging potential, although it is outstanding now.
