Fresh Hops Tasting
Fresh hop season is here, and we’re putting four fresh hop beers side by side for an evening of tasting and comparison.
Fresh hop beers are brewed with hops picked at harvest and delivered to the brewery while they’re still fresh, rather than dried and processed like traditional brewing hops. That quick turnaround captures more of the hop’s bright, green, resinous character—and makes fresh hop beers a seasonal favorite for good reason.
Taste four different takes on fresh hops from Stoup Hop Fiend Thora, Logan John 117 Centennial, Fort George Simcoe Architect, and Fort George Quality of Consciousness. Join us Thursday, October 1 from 5–8 PM and taste them side by side while these seasonal beers are at their freshest.

Blind Tasting
Put your palate to work.
Join us at Nectar October 8 from 5–8 for a blind tasting featuring a lineup of wines served without the labels. We’ll taste through each pour, look at the clues in the glass, and see what you can pick up from aroma, structure, acidity, tannin, and finish.
No labels, no preconceived ideas—just the wine.

Beer Club & MEMBER MIX & Mingle

Mimosa Morning PainTING
Join Brushes Up with the Budano’s for a festive fall morning at Nectar in Kendall Yards! Randy will guide you step-by-step through a beautiful Pumpkins & Petals painting featuring pumpkins, sunflowers, and warm autumn colors. No painting experience necessary.
Saturday, October 24 | 10 AM–12 PM
$35 per painter
Your ticket includes an 11×14 canvas, all painting supplies, apron, easel, brushes, and step-by-step instruction. Food and mimosas will be available for purchase separately.
October 29 – November 1
Mulled wine WEEKEND
Two wines. Two very different takes on mulled wine.
For Halloween weekend, we’re warming up both red and white mulled wine at Nectar, October 29–November 1.
The red brings darker fruit, spice, and a little more weight—think berries, baking spice, and a deeper, richer finish. The white takes a lighter approach, with brighter fruit, citrus, and warming spice that keeps it fresh and aromatic.
Come taste the difference and decide which style belongs in your glass.
