Nectar Wine and Beer’s journey began in 2010 as drinknectar.com, a wine blog founded by Josh Wade with a clear vision: to build a unique beverage business. The blog quickly gained significant traction, attracting over 20,000 page views and 12,000 unique readers monthly through active engagement on social media.

This early success propelled Josh to approach five Washington wineries with an innovative concept: Nectar Tasting Room. This collaborative space allowed wineries to showcase their offerings directly to enthusiasts.

Following the successful launch of Nectar Wine and Beer in Kendall Yards in 2015, Nectar Tasting Room evolved into Nectar Catering and Events. Today, Nectar Catering and Events stands as a premier catering and event management company, proudly hosting over 200 events annually and catering an additional 500 events across various Spokane venues. We’re also honored to be the exclusive caterer for the Historic 1889 Building.

This year marks a special milestone for us: Nectar Wine and Beer is proudly celebrating our 10th year in business! We’re thrilled to continue serving the Spokane community, and we’re incredibly grateful for your support. Your loyalty has helped us achieve something truly remarkable: being voted Spokane’s #1 Wine Bar for four consecutive years. Jeff has been an integral part of the Nectar team since 2016, consistently delivering exceptional service and playing a key role in guiding our team’s ongoing wine and beer education. His deep product knowledge and commitment to guest satisfaction are invaluable assets.

Outside of Nectar, Jeff is a dedicated Raiders fan. (A bottle of Rosé is rumored to be the quickest way to earn his favor!)
